Coach Jimmy’s “Enjoy Your Holidays Guilt-Free” Fitness Plan

by Coach Jimmy Hays Nelson

3 Simple Steps To Enjoy Your Holidays with No Guilt and Without Blowing Your Fitness Goals

1.  Replace one meal a Day with Shakeology

We normally can’t control what is served at holiday get-togethers, and why would we?  It’s the holidays.  It’s the one time we get to enjoy some of our favorite treats that we have waited all year for!  So a simple way to balance out the calorie surplus during your holiday parties is to replace a meal earlier in the day with a delicious super premium meal replacement like Shakeology.

I choose Shakeology because it ensures I get all my vitamins, minerals, superfoods, prebiotics, and probiotics for the day.  In other words, it is going to fill in the nutritional gaps in my day created by less nutritious holiday treats later.

And at only $4 a serving, I’m helping my waistline for less money than rolling thru everyone’s favorite gourmet coffee shop in the morning.

2.  Exercise Daily – even if it’s only for 10 Minutes!

By choosing to start each day with some kind of exercise, I am doing something positive for my mind and body before the busy go-go-go schedule of the holidays can set in.

Ideally I would love to do a full 1 hour workout like I do the rest of the year, but in this busy holiday time, that isn’t always possible.

This is a great time to lean on shorter, more intense workout programs like Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer – or Chalene Johnson’s HIIT Workouts in Turbo Fire.

A short 10-20 high intensity workout has been known to help you burn 9 times more fat through the rest of your day! It may not seem like a lot, but if you will give it your 100% effort for 10-20 minutes it will make all the difference in the world come Jan 1st!

3.  Enjoy Your Holidays!

Mental fitness is vital to your overall health as a person.  So beating yourself up and choosing to feel guilty after every holiday indulgence is no way to keep your mind and spirit healthy.  This is the time of year to celebrate with those you love.

Go into this holiday season willing to treat yourself if you choose to.  But you can do it with the confidence that this is only for a short season, excited about the physical goals you have ahead of you in the upcoming year!

So that’s it!  1-2-3  Easy as Pie ….. a delicious holiday Pumpkin Pie!

I hope these tips will help you have the most amazing holiday season!  Please feel free to share with those you care about!
