#1 – PPDS – Push Play, Drink Shakeology.
You need to push play on a workout and drink Shakeology every day. You need to commit to a program and follow it all the way through. You need to show that you are willing to commit to something every day. I challenge you to follow one of Team Beachbody’s program all the way through. Follow it daily on your calender.
#2 – Personal Development.
I didn’t have a lot of self esteem starting this business. I started to increase my self esteem and motivation through personal development. Read a personal development book or listen to an audio book every day. I wake up at 4:45. Why do I wake up so early? Because that is what I have learned from these audio books that other successful people do, they wake up early. Learn what other successful people do. Learn to motivate yourself. Learn to train your brain. It’s an investment.
#3 – Stories, Stories, Stories.
Our business is based on stories. Be a collector of stories. You need stories to help others overcome their excuses and their objections. I have five good stories in my back pocket that I use to help motivate people. I encourage you to share your own stories, because it gives others hope. Share your stories with friends. They don’t know you as a fitness professional, they know you as the person that lives three doors down or goes out for drinks with them every once in a while.
#4 – Make Friends and Add Value.
Social media is the coolest thing in the world. Over 80% of our coaches recruit via Facebook, Twitter, or some other platform. You have no excuse not to make five new friends every day. Instead of hoping a conversation will get started in person at, let’s say, the grocery store about fitness, go search on the social media platforms and join a conversation. Answer questions, be helpful. It doesn’t have to be about fitness, go make five new friends on communities about whatever hobbies you love. Don’t be that coach that asks everyone to join your challenge group, just encourage people.
#5 – Life.
People love to talk about themselves and tell you how dissatisfied they are. When you have a rapport with someone, you have that trust. They open up to you. When they do, offer a solution. That’s when you invite them to join your business. Give them a call to action, but keep it casual. “Keep It Cas”. Don’t forget to use your stories to help them find a solution to their problems.
Bonus – Learn, Do, Tweak.
This is what successful people do. This is what you are going to do from now on to become that successful Beachbody Coach you want to be. Take action, learn from your mistakes, and tweak that action. Don’t isolate yourself. Ask for help. Don’t let a bad day turn into a bad weekend, week, month, or lifetime. It’s not worth it!
