Go on Offense and Build Relationships
Take the extra few seconds, minutes, hours, however long it takes, to play a bit of offense when it comes to building relationships throughout your day. It doesn’t even have to be with clients or your customers. It could be responding to your significant other’s text about dinner tonight with more than just ‘k’ or reaching out your parents to let them know you’re thinking about them. We’re all busy, everyone’s busy, and taking a few extra moments to put a little extra effort into your relationships will show others that they matter to somebody out there. It can literally change someone’s day.
For your customers, co-workers, etc., they’ll see that you care about them, that you connect with them, and it’ll strengthen the relationship between you two. They’ll stick around longer and be more receptive when you reach out to them again for whatever it is that you do. For your family and loved ones, they’ll see that they’re on your mind and that you appreciate everything they’ve done for you.
It’s all about what you put into it folks. If you put in the time and effort, your life will be richer for it both professionally and personally.
