So, it’s no secret that I’m focused on using video to help grow my business since it’s super powerful. I’m crazy active on YouTube and what I’ve learned in the past year has helped it just blow up with subscribers and views. I’ve gotten into Periscope and it’s been absolutely killing it for getting my business in front of new eyes and keeping it in front of my current followers.
One of the cool new things I’ve been using, with some solid success, is Facebook video ads. Where did I learn it? From a workshop I attended by James Wedmore, who’s basically the King of YouTube. In a nutshell, Facebook video ads are quick little commercials that pop up in your feed and really let you zero in on your target audience. I wanted to take a moment to share the things that I’ve been learned from two of the best in the business that will hopefully help you with growing your own business with video.
I’m one of the people that’s constantly investing in learning new skills and learning to grow and get out of my comfort zone.
I’ve learned that every time that I step out of my comfort zone to learn something new or invest some money, that may be a little uncomfortable for me in the short term, my business grows and my income goes up, I get to work with cool people, and I meet new amazing people that I wouldn’t have if I stayed in my comfort zone in the first place.
I signed up for James’ video ROI course which basically went over how to set your video up on YouTube to get more views and help people find them easier. What I learned there helped my YouTube channel get to where it is today and I found out that he had a Facebook video ad course while I was at one of Chalene Johnson’s workshops. Again, wouldn’t have found out about it if I hadn’t invested in myself.
Whatever you’re into or starting, if you’re not taking advantage of Facebook video ads, you’re really missing out.
Whether you’re looking to grow your business’s Facebook audience, funnel more traffic to your website, promote a webinar, or just get the word out, video ads are so hot right now on Facebook and like everything new, we don’t know how long the bubble is going to last, especially with how few people are using it. And because how few people are using it, it’s super affordable to actually get the ad in front of your audience.
There are people spending as little as $5 a day and getting a huge ROI from their ads. With 4 billion video views a day on Facebook, it’s insane to not take advantage of it. In fact, I launched an ad just a few days ago and I’ve already gotten a bunch of new opt-ins for my 5 Days of Fire series. Whether or not I end up doing business with them, I still get to help them get out of the funk they’re in and help them find the motivation within themselves to achieve their goals and I love doing that!
Another thing I love about Facebook ads is that you can target exactly who you’re looking for!
You know who you’re looking for and Facebook’s demographic ad targeting really lets you zero in on those people. You can target 28 year old blonde, blue eyed moms within a certain mile radius in your town so you’re not just throwing a big net out there and hoping that your audience finds you. Go to them! Take out all that stressful guesswork and put your company smack dab in front of their faces.
Does it cost money? Sure, but everything costs money and razor targeting your audience will cause your ROI and traction to just skyrocket.
Anyways, I hope you guys found this info useful. It’s helped me, I hope it helps you too. If you have questions about it, put them in the comments section below, hit me up on Facebook or any of my social media profiles. I’m everywhere.
