You Have to Have Skin in the Game
You may know it as direct sales or MLM or relational marketing…you’re probably familiar with it. You’re using someone else’s product to build a business and helping consumers.
“Oh. It’s a pyramid scheme. It’s a scam.”
Over ten years ago, a guy I worked with used a DVD program called P90 to lose weight. I tried it, and then P90X came out and I couldn’t stop telling people about it! I loved this program and what it did for my body!
Once Beachbody realized that it’s users were sharing the programs with each other, they decided to incentivize their customers to continue sharing! I was already sharing P90X so I figured it would be a natural extension. It wasn’t until later on that I even realized it was called Network Marketing!
You know when Network Marketing doesn’t work? When someone talks to you about a product they’ve never tried and don’t understand (or worse, don’t believe in)!! It’s far harder to share when you have no experience with a product. Do you have a story?!
People knew that I cared about Beachbody products because they changed my life. Not because I handle objections better or I pitch better…it comes from my heart.
If you choose to join this business, it should be coming from your heart, too!
