Looking to score more business this year? In the decade plus of being an entrepreneur, I’ve gone through many trial and errors. But when I’ve gotten the most success is when I shared these 3 things:
When you think about your favorite brand, celebrity or public figure, what draws you to them? 9 times out of 10 they have some sort of story or background that makes you want to work with or follow them. Get vulnerable with your story and your audience so they trust you!
Based on what product or service you’re selling, who is your ideal client? Where do they live? What lifestyle do they have? What is their work, home and family life like? Get specific about who you want to help. Write out their favorite places to eat, shop, who they follow and what their values are.
What problem do you solve for your ideal client? Has that been your problem in the past? How did you solve it? In conjunction with the first tip, get vulnerable about these topics with your audience and speak to the specific person that needs your help.
The way we connect and share the information above is by sharing our story. We have to dig deep into our past, who we are and why we are in business so !
I challenge you to piece together your story that is meant for the person you’re trying to help. When you get vulnerable, people trust you. When people trust you they want to work with you. Apply these tips to see your business grow.
