Tell me if this sounds familiar. Your responsibilities seem to keep adding up: school, work, spouse, kids, etc. You know your ever-growing stress level causes you to eat more, make poor food choices, sleep less, and ultimately deteriorating your health. You know you need to workout. You keep hearing how people who workout have more energy and lower stress levels. It sounds awesome in a perfect world, but you barely have enough energy to get through a day as it is, and that is with the help of 3 cups of coffee and 2 red bulls just to eek by. Does this sound like you or anyone you know?
So where do you start. You don’t have enough energy to workout, but you are told IF you workout you will have more energy.

GOOD NEWS: All of us that have started a fitness program or have a successful weight loss story faced this same dilemma. So you aren’t the first person to face this problem, and you certainly aren’t alone!
So what did these amazing success stories do? Did they find some magic potion or formula that was their own personal Popeye spinach? Well…. Yes and no. True they didn’t find a Pac Man power pellet that gave them immediate unlimited energy. (Most people are trying to find that in energy drinks and caffeine, only to be punched in the face with the inevitable crash that comes afterwards) But they did find a few simple steps that started the transformation to more energy, and believe it or not more time.
Take a look at your schedule. Most everyone feels like every waking minute of their day is accounted for. But I found when I really sat down and honestly examined my schedule there were hidden wasted minutes to be found. Maybe its staying up later than we should to watch our favorite TV show, or the late night hours that slip by while surfing the web. Regardless of what it is most people can find hidden time. Anywhere from 10 minutes to sometimes HOURS when they are all added up. So say you nit pick your schedule and all you can find is 10 minutes. How are 10 minutes going to give me more energy? Well at first, maybe you don’t find a new surge of energy because of 10 minutes, but you start using that time to do some kind of activity. Maybe it is just a morning walk around the block, a few yoga moves, or even Tony Horton’s Ten Minute Trainer Program that is specifically designed for people on the go.
