Success is a Process, Not a Destination
I flew to Los Angeles for a month-long process of rebuilding my singing voice. Knowing how it feels to push my body through a tough workout, this has been a whole other can of worms. There were days I made major progress; then there were days that felt like going back to the beginning.
On one particular day, I had a major setback after a huge breakthrough. It reminded me that I didn’t hit mastery just because I hit a goal! I felt the same way my first time doing Shaun Week: The first week I spent my workouts just trying to keep up. The second week I already knew the moves, so my workouts were even better! I met my goal the first week, but I didn’t hit mastery! If I don’t achieve my goal, another part of the process is being able to identify what went wrong!
Every goal I’ve set usually just reveals the next goal. Take a moment to celebrate the work you’ve done and using that to tackle the next goal!
