The magic of network marketing is in duplication.
I teach people how to duplicate a few simple things in this business in order to be successful; and none of those simple things include having a big personality like me.
But I’m not going to the UK to prove why new coaches should join my team. Why not? Because if I go to UK and wine and dine, show them what’s possible, impress them with my flash, then I’m teaching them that’s what they have to do to recruit. And that’s not duplicatable.
I will show up for my team. I join them all around the country whenever possible. But I wont go somewhere to demonstrate something that isn’t duplicable.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s hard for me not to jump on a plane with my videographer and get everyone in the UK excited to join my team! But the last thing I want is for anyone to think they have to be me to be successful. I’ve probably impacted fewer lives over the years because I’ve introduced my personality first. I started by jingling the keys, and when I’ve done that to motivate people to start, I have to keep doing that to motivate them to stay.
I’m thrilled Beachbody will now be changing lives in the UK. And I can’t wait to meet the new coaches that will inevitably join us. But it’s more important to me to show people how to change their lives than to attract as many people as possible right out of the gate.
