Hello! Coach Jimmy here with a week 2 INSANITY MAX:30 check in. I am actually here in New Orleans visiting my in laws and my brother-in-law is Jim so this has been my place for work out for the last couple of days instead of at home and I want to share with you guys a goal that I am reaching. I am actually in a public place shirtless and that’s a big deal for me and some people may know me as the guy in other fitness DVD’s or a 100 pound weight loss story and everybody just assumes, “Oh Jimmy is ripped or he is really in good shape and super confident” and stuff and that’s really honestly not the case.
My Weight Loss Journey
Even after my weight loss, even after my fitness transformation I have never been comfortable without shirt on because a lot of people that have lost a substantial amount of weight, still deal with see themselves as their old version and I don’t deal with it, half as bad as I used too. I have come a long way. I used to see just see fat Jimmy all the time regardless of how lean I got but my mid-section and having a six pack is one things that always has eluded me. I know of one time in my life time – I have some pictures and I can share – that I had six pack and I had to go through some really crazy over training, strenuous diet and extremes to get there. It probably wasn’t the healthiest way to get there and I am not proud of saying that, it was just something that I wanted know my body was capable of.
I would really get frustrated to know that I am working my ass up and eating really clean; you know when all of us have those buddies that can eat a pizza and drink a keg beer and still can see their abs and you know sometimes you feel that’s not fair. I work hard, I eat right, I don’t see the results like other people and it’s a trap guys really it’s hard not to compare yourself with other guys especially in this industry in fitness and media now; the things you see on face book and Instagram. Why I don’t look like that guy or that girl, but something I am really curious about in going through this process and really maxing out giving my all, dialing in 100 percent for 60 days is to see if I can get rid of this bit of loose skin that kind of built curves at the bottom of my torso.

Now it probably look way worse to me than it looks to you guys but I am asking you not to judge me right now and to know that see things through different eyes than you see things and we are on different parts of our journey, so you know regardless of where you have your goals and I have my mine, I’m just choosing to share and I don’t know if you will be able to see it with this camera or not.
Give It Your Best
So we will see if this works, one thing I did like about working out with the sun light coming in and working in front of the mirror in a gym is I could see more definition in my torso than I think I would on a normal basis. If you look, that actually looks pretty stinking good there but, there is this hang-over and it’s just kind of flimsy right there and you can kind of see. To a lot of people, that is not a big deal but to me it is big deal. When I sit like this my eyes just get to this and just the fact that I can grab handfuls, here really kind of drives me nuts, for somebody who considers themselves like fitness professionals, this is the job they do.
But you know what’s funny just sitting here and doing that and getting in play and seeing the light through the window, it’s like ohh I do have a strong core, those muscles are there, and you know? When I make it to the end of this and that may not go away, maybe it’s just a reminder of where I came from and the work I have done and a way I can help others. So, maybe I get rid of this thing and maybe I won’t and maybe either way I still win because I gave it my best.
I know I am not defined by my mid-section, my mid-section doesn’t matter, doesn’t define whether I am a healthy fit or a fit person is just on a six pack and I am learning these things and I am thinking these things as I’m sharing with you, so bare with me follow me these next 60 days and see what other lessons I can learn in middle of talking to you guys as well.
