This past weekend I attended a Leadership Retreat in California. Being around so many amazing leaders, I learned so much. But I also noticed something. It became very obvious to me that the most passionate leaders, the ones who were able to rally the troops, and put people into true action were primarily women. Now ladies, before you get all riled up, this is NOT an anti-woman blog post. I admire all the strong women I see inspiring others to take action and create change in their families, communties, and lives. These amazing women have created cultures of action. They were rallying other women. Not only identifying problems but igniting action by challenging other women to stop complaining about their problems, and join a movement to do something about it. I loved it! The passion and fire was infectious. I totally saw why 1000’s of women would follow these leaders.
But it gave me pause…..
WHERE ARE THE LEADERS OF MEN????
Why is it so much easier for women to jump into a culture of change? Is it because we as men have bought into some false bullshit stigma that we are too macho or too cool to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. That our egos are so large that we will eventually figure it out on our own, even though we continue to fall short in our solo efforts?
Guys! Wake Up! Where are wild courageous men looking to be the pack hunters for change?
What’s your excuse?
You think working out at home with DVDs is for sissies? How’s that gym membership you don’t use and that ever growing waistline working out for you?
Real men don’t drink ‘health shakes’? Do real men ignore their health and die at a young age never fulfilling their potential, and leaving their family abandoned?
Or maybe you feel REAL MEN don’t get involved in a Home Based Business because that isn’t a real job. Even though more self made millionaires are made every year with a home based business. Oh AND this is an opportunity for you to not just have a job but to have real significance with what you do as you help impact others health, fitness, and finances. Or do you still feel ‘real men’ commute to jobs they hate to be overworked and underpaid because that’s ‘just the way you do things’.
All I know is you can keep doing things the way they have always been done, but I am looking for real men who want to join my pack, be a leader of men, and start impacting lives in a real way.
If that is you I invite you to contact me via my Facebook page. Real Men only need apply.
