Stop Complaining and Get Your Mind Right
** Warning: Video contains cursing and ranting **
I watch this video almost every Monday morning and you should too because it’s dead-on accurate. Strap on your helmets boys and girls, it’s time for some tough love.
There’s too much complaining about Monday mornings and it needs to stop.
Complaining is a waste of time, energy, and is poison to your state of mind. Spewing negativity just because it’s a certain day isn’t going to solve anything. It isn’t going to change your crappy job, your stressful commute, or make that test you have to take go away. It. Does. Nothing. And it’s to the point where people are going it out of sense of dogmatic obligation. “Oh, it’s Monday morning, I better complain about something trivial.” Knock it off.
Don’t Blame Monday
What did Monday morning ever do to you? Nothing, that’s what. Monday morning is nothing, but another day. It’s the start of the work week. It’s a fresh beginning. It’s another chance to put last week behind you, do something new, and absolutely crush it. It’s an opportunity and you’re going to spend your valuable time complaining?!
Use Your Time Wisely
How about instead of griping about Monday morning, you take one thing that’s bothering you and FIX IT so you never bothers you again?! Harness that energy you were going to use moaning about a period of time that isn’t going anywhere and push it over to doing something positive with your time.
Get Your Mind Right
Take a step back and look around. There are so many opportunities out there just waiting for you to capitalize on it’s absurd. The Internet has made it so you can literally touch millions of lives without ever having to leave your living room. You can start a business from the comfort of your own home and turn it into a five, six, seven, or even eight figure salary if you’re willing to stop complaining and get to work. Recognize that the pie is enormous and there are more than enough pieces of everyone, but you have to go out there and claim yours.
Are you going to spend your time lamenting about how long the walk is to the table, or get off your butt and take your piece?
