Take time to Celebrate!!!
A Recap of the 2013 Beachbody Coach Walt Disney World Trip
If you have stopped by my Facebook page recently, you probably saw quite a few fun and crazy pics from our recent trip to Walt Disney World. Not everyone knows that I used to work at Walt Disney World, so I am always thrilled to return to my old stomping grounds. It is always fun to act like a big kid running around all the parks, riding rides, and taking pictures with giant characters from my favorite movies! The best part about this trip: It was Free! I earned it as a Team Beachbody Coach for encouraging others with their health and fitness goals. Sounds too good to be true right? I used to think the same thing! But this is the 7th trip Beachbody has sent me on!
What made this trip stand out from other Disney trips I had been on before is that I got to experience the fun with my team, THE CREW. Many of these people started as friends or clients who were working on their own health and fitness goals. They realized despite being in the middle of their own journey there were people around them that needed help just getting started, so they upgraded to join THE CREW as a Team Beachbody Coach.
Even though there were intense morning workouts with Shaun T and Leandro Carvalho, and amazing training talks with Beachbody CEO Carl Daikeler and world renown economist Paul Zane Pilzer, this trip was really about taking time to celebrate!
I don’t know about you, but there have been times in my life as I am working towards a goal I tend to only focus on my short comings. For example: Someone compliments you because you have lost 5 pounds and your reaction sounds something like this, “Yeah but I still have so far to go” Or maybe you have started a new business venture and you are constantly comparing your results to someone else’s regardless of how much progress you’ve made. It is so easy to beat ourselves up over the things we haven’t done. Those things that never got marked off our to do list. The extra cookie we snuck in when no one was looking. I understand! Even after my 100 pound weight loss I still struggled with focusing on the things I was unsatisfied with instead of celebrating the progress I had made.
During this Walt Disney World Beachbody Coach trip I wanted to make sure my team truly took the time to stop and celebrate the things they had achieved over the past year. Many times the path we are on towards our goals still seems so long and drawn out in front of us. But it is vital that from time to time we stop and turn around to remind ourselves of how far we have come. It’s in these times of celebration that I find new confidence to keep pushing forward. So take time today to review how far you have come. Celebrate your accomplishments big and small! They are a reminder that you are a successful person with many more successes in your future!
I hope you enjoy these pictures from our trip. If you are in need of a supportive family to help you reach your goals I encourage you to email us at ClientCare@nelsongy.com. You aren’t alone. We are here to help!
