How Real Healthy People Got Started
Look, we all start somewhere. We all start for different reasons. Don’t let where you are right now prevent you from getting started.
Find something that makes you excited about working out. Find something that, when you wake up, is the first thing on your mind and makes you leap out of bed to attack the day. Whether it’s going to the gym first thing in the morning (like me), joining a recreational sports league, or joining a community that has regular competitions, working out and being healthy doesn’t have to be a chore. It can be fun! You just have to get out there and find that activity that resonates with you.
And don’t dwell on missteps. Don’t beat yourself about a single slip up. Be kind to yourself, one bad meal won’t ruin your diet and missing one workout won’t ruin your week. Pick yourself back up by your boot straps and get back on that horse.
